Sample essay that was written by an IELTS student
It is an obvious fact that competition is a vital component in establishing a positive personality and behaviour. It is agreed that competition between secondary school students should be motivated. This essay will discuss how a competition can bring positive changes among high school children and the learning skills which students can use in the future.
First of all, competition between young students can certainly make positive changes in their personality. Due to challenging games at high school level, inspiration and encouragement will be added in student’s character and they will maximize their efforts to win the game. One more convincing fact is that students will not feel fear to face any challenge in the future. This means that high school participant will become so trained for the competition that they would bravery face up the hurdles in their future life.
Furthermore, rivalry among secondary school students can help them to recognize their individual abilities. In other words, pupils can likely judge themselves in the beginning level that at which sports or field they are good enough. To illustrate that point, famous football players such as Ronaldo and Beckham are the best examples of such competition, who initially participated in school football matches competition, and now they are playing in international teams. Thus, it is proved that benefits do derive from the practice of competition between high school students.
To conclude, combativeness is advantageous to secondary school children because it prepares them to grab professional opportunities as well as understanding the importance of extensive hard work at high school level.
